    There cannot be an affirmation before the question for the rest of you as for all I know, I may be dreaming right now and you guys are merely representations conjured up by my subconscious.

    Derrida sums up his philosophy for the 999th time. Oh, the hours of buchstabieren with his tantalizing but brilliant books L’Ecriture et la difference (1967) and La Dissemination (1972), and the hours of tedium trawling though so much else in his vast output searching for some trace of the original thrill. J. Hillis Miller has done a mighty salvage operation on late Derrida, in his book For Jacques Derrida — and if Miller can’t bring it off, who can?
