Predictions?

So . . .  who do you think is going to win the Big Game today? Is everyone huddling around their televisions to watch or are you planning on bowing out?

Packers by 7, with the lead changing between the Packers and the Steelers at least twice.

Of course, God does play favorites in this matter: we call Wisconsin “God’s country” for a reason! As an old joke goes: an old NFL quarterback dies and when he gets to Heaven, St. Peter tells him that God is big football fan and has set aside a special area for famous football players. St. Peter takes him for a walk through the neighborhood, pointing out where some of the greats stay, their houses marked by team colors. The QB points up the hill to a magnificent palace in Green and Gold, and asks: “who lives up there? Bart Starr? Ray Nitziche? Brett Favre?” St. Peter shakes his head and says, “No, that’s where Jesus stays when he comes to town to watch the games.”

Nothing but black and gold here, although I have concerns about how well our offensive line will hold up. No predictions but may everyone come out of the game healthy and intact.

Green Bay 31, Steelers 25: THE PACKERS RULE!

But congratulations to Pittsburgh on an excellent game and for keeping it tight to the very end.
