    I found the speaker kind of hard to follow, was he saying that the Tories hadn’t raised taxes, or that the manifesto didn’t mention that they had? Cameron raised the VAT and has put a bunch of austerity measures in place.

    Have you seen the series, Yes Minister? You have to understand, this character is always full of doublespeak.

      The series goes from “Yes, Minister” to “Yes, Prime Minister.” It is the best political humor of all time, when you see it. Really, really fabulous. The original actor who played the part in these videos is exceptional — these videos are from the new stage play and the people involved with it.
