Newly Ordained Jesuit Priests

Just today, three friends of mine in the New Orleans Province, Anthony Wieck, Anthony Borrow, and Derrick Weingartner, were ordained as Jesuit priests. Congratulations!

There were also two more Jesuits ordained to the priesthood yesterday in Toronto, Canada. John Meehan sj and Teofilo Ugaban sj were ordained by Archbishop Terence Prendergast sj of Ottawa at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Toronto.
John Meehan sj celebrated his First Mass this morning at the Newman Centre, on campus at the University of Toronto, with family, friends and plenty of Jesuits in the congregation.
The Jesuit Provincial of English Canada, Jim Webb SJ announced yesterday at the ordination that there are 20 more Jesuit students in formation who were present for the celebration.
