If a homeless shelter houses a murderer, are they culpable for the murders?

My take: They are not culpable for the murders; they would be culpable for harboring a fugitive if they knowingly housed him without informing the authorities.
No.
But if they announced that their mission was to provide people with subsidized food, shelter, clothing, shoes, bullets and guns — anti-murder advocates might think that paying for those last two represented a problem.
No more so than the spouse of a murderer is culpable for murders they had no knowledge of. If the shelter knew the person was a murderer, then they would be guilty of accessory after the fact, but if they had no knowledge of it, then no?
