    My father raised chickens when I was a boy, and I remember once my father brought a newly hatched baby chick into the house that only walked backwards. He had it in the lid of a large garbage can, and it just walked backwards around and around the outside edge of the lid. As far as I know, it had not used drugs or alcohol.
