If we were to make a Ven diagram, those open to adoption and those open to abortion would not form a very big cross section. From my reading, adoption is not in practice an abortion alternative.

Could you tell me what you are basing this on?

This is what seems to make people queasy. If we were to make a Ven diagram, those open to adoption and those open to abortion would not form a very big cross section. From my reading, adoption is not in practice an abortion alternative.
