Feast of the Magi

In Spanish, we celebrate el dia de los magos, or Epiphany as the Church calls it. In many parts of the Catholic world, today is when presents are exchanged and the parties commence.
In my home, I made my favorite dessert, tres leches, to have after a special dinner. Trying to keep it Liturgical in the home.

“Tres leches”? Three milks…it it like a parfait?
It’s more like an awesome. It’s a type of sponge cake, and you douse it with a vanilla-ey mixture of cream, evaporated milk, and condensed milk. Delicious coma.
Well, Feast of the Magi/Epiphany for the West; Theophany (Baptism of Christ) for the East. I know the West waits for the Baptism…
