I’ll check it out, but if you’re endorsing it, I’m afraid that it may be another dissenter blog.

Hi – this is Grace I’m not a ‘dissenter’, just a writer. My blog is a literary blog from a Catholic perspective, because I’m a Catholic, and my faith informs everything I do and everything I say and is absolutely central to my work. My martyr play ‘Lawrence’ is about to appear in ‘Dappled Things’ (great new Catholic literary magazine check it out http://www.dappledthings.org/)

    Grace

Nor is Vox Nova a source of dissent. Don’t let the trolls get you down.

Grace, if you are concerned with the image of your blog, I’d disassociate with this one. It is very notorious for being liberal and a source of dissent, despite what Karlson says. My feelings aren’t hurt by the troll remark. That’s usually what I’m called when those who ascribe to heterodoxy do not like my pointing it out. The same goes for others like me.

It’s interesting how Vox Nova has to fend off accusations of “dissenting” all day by various Catholics and yet its authors still haven’t even considered the possibility that they might not be fully in line with Catholic teaching.

If Vox Nova isn’t a dissenting blog then “dissent” has been stripped of all meaning. Vox Nova is almost right about almost everything. That’s what makes them so wrong.

Well Joseph apparently wasn’t a troll. In this context, I am though. I don’t tend to spend much time at heretical blogs. If I wanted to read dissenting material I’d buy Hans Kung.

There’s too much good reading out there for me to waste my time with Vox Nova.

I enjoy reading the declarations of dissent, yet the people just say that without any evidence to back up what they say. So, if you want to say it is a “dissenting blog” show us where VN proposes dissent. Stop making accusations and thinking that proves it. It doesn’t. It’s basically the equivalent of a kid in preschool saying “you have cooties.”

    Karlson,

    You have cooties.
