Chaldean Archbishop Dead

March 13, 2008

via CNN

The Chaldean Catholic Archbishop who was kidnapped in Northern Iraq February 29 has been found dead.  The whole story is so horrible.  The Catholic community gained a new saint with this Archbishop’s refusal to leave even though his life had been threatened.  May Archbishop Rahho pray for Iraq.

The Archbishop, may he and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace, is now among the Saints.

    Now, R. Kipling:

The Earth gave up its dead that day,
    Into our camp he came,
And said his say and went his way,
    And left our hearts aflame.

Keep tally – on the gun-butt score,
    The vengeance we must take,
When God shall bring full reckoning,
    For our comrades’ sake!

And when he shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of Heaven so fine that all the world
Will be in lin love with light.

Let us be very clear: the US regime that started this evil bears some responsibility for this man’s death. Let us not forget what has been unleashed.

No. Let us be very clear. This man was murdered by people with free will.

    MM,

Blame US first? Wrong. The man was murdered by Islamic jihadists, they bear responsibility.

    God Bless,

    Matt
