Will Antonia Meo Become the Youngest Non-Martyr Saint?

December 18, 2007

Known by her nickname, Nennolina, Antonia was a young Catholic girl in 1930s Italy. She had a great faith which manifested itself in some unusual ways (including letters she wrote to God and the Theotokos). At the age of five and a half, she had one of her legs amputated because of a malignant tumor.

It was too little, too late, and she died at the age of six. During that time she showed great, “heroic virtue,” which is now being recognized by the Vatican.

I hope her letters will one day be released in book form. After all, when Jesus said we must become like children, what better example could there be than this young, girl who had great love for Christ?

It’s nice to see this site finally have post that doesn’t have to deal with politics.

    Lom

Read more of the posts; it’s a mix and not all are politics at all. So there is no “finally” about it.
