Can Bill do this?

“I have fired a grenade launcher and hit the target two out of three times, so I think that’s pretty good odds for me,”

- Mrs. Mike Huckabee (CNN political ticker.)

I’ve declined to give an endorsement up until this point, but the case for fence sitting just became more difficult.

The culture of violence can be addressed in part by supporting reasonable restrictions on access to assault weapons and handguns.

    Let me correct you:

The culture of violence can be addressed in part by supporting reasonable restrictions on access to assault weapons and handguns Punishing the people who perpetrate crimes and remove them from society.

I guess doesn’t work for strikethroughs?

The culture of violence can be addressed in part by punishing the people who perpetrate crimes and remove them from society and not by eliminating rights of others.

One more time for strikethrough (sorry!)?

    Let me correct you:

Someone punish TeutonicTim for bad internet protocol!!!! :)

But actually, our bishops just released a document calling for a reform of our “broken” criminal justice system – moving away from punishing the criminals and moving towards restoring them to society and repairing the injustice they created.

Restorative justice, baby. God love it.

I apologize for the numerous strikethrough attempts. All of the others I tried worked so now I know. As G.I. Joe said “Knowing is half the battle”.

Regardless of the method used to treat the criminals – Let’s not kid ourselves, someone who commits a crime with or without a gun is a criminal – The problem lies with the person, not the inanimate object that they used.

I think the <del> tag might work.

Let’s enter into deeper contemplation over whether Huckabee’s wife is better with a grenade launcher than Ms. Clinton’s spouse and how to apply this knowledge in the wake of Faithful Citizenship.

I tried to be funny in my first post and then MM had to come make it serious…

Anyway – I think we should talk about whether or not grenade launcher are intrinsically evil! :-) (haha)

I’d say Mrs. Huckabee would make a great first lady. Maybe the million mom march could take come clues from her.

Well, the morality of her action would presumably be dependent about whether or not hitting the target was the object of her intention. Otherwise, we’d have to evaluate what her intention was, and if so, whether or not the indirect result of hitting the target 2 out of 3 times was proportionate to the good accomplished.

I bet Hillary is thinking, “If had only done something like that back when we were in Arkansas, mighta had fewer bimbo eruptions…”

But it appears that she wasn’t using an “assault” weapon (whatever that means) or a handgun. She was using a grenade launcher.

It looks like this lady rocks.

I want to see Geri Thompson drive a tank now. :)

    I caught Tim’s HTML disease. :)

    I cured it for you.
